My family did the sunrise Haleakala tour and it was one of the best experience ever. Booking the tour was easy and they picked us up at the hotel on time. Our guide Mike was fantastic. He was a wealth of knowledge about the history of Hawaii and the Hawaiian eco system. The view from the top of the volcano was unlike any sunrise we have ever seen. The colors of the sunrise was so vibrant and being above the clouds was unreal. The stars felt so close as if you could touch them. This tour is a must if you come to Maui.

We did the Haleakala Sunset tour and it was a really great excursion! Mike was our driver and he was informative and funny and made sure he drove in a manner so we would not get sick (pretty windy roads and a big rise in elevation) We watched the gorgeous sunset above

the clouds and then stayed until the sun went all the way down to look at the stars. It was the only tour bus that stayed for the stars. Amazing! We could see the Milky Way with our naked eye and I believe I got a shot of the comet. This tour included a delish supper from a local

cafe that we ate on the bus while waiting for the sunset. Mike had several special touches that were really sweet (sworn to secrecy), they were like the cherry on top. Highly recommend this tour! Dress warmly, it gets pretty cold at that elevation.

Michael was an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. We did the sunset tour and it was beautiful. The weather was a tad cloudy at the summit but that’s to be expected with weather. It was still beautiful despite some clouds! Michael provided a lot of great information and was very welcoming and connected well with us and others on the tour. We’d recommend this tour and certainly would recommend Michael as a guide!

I recently took part in the Haleakala sunset tour with my mom and aunt. Mike was our amazing tour guide. He was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed his stories and humor. The view from the top was beautiful and breathtaking. My favorite part

was the star gazing and that we were able to see the Milky Way. Mike surprised us with a hot treat which came in handy to warm us up. I would definitely recommend this tour.
